Boss Guide

Mechanics, counters and team logic for confirmed boss encounters. Unconfirmed fights are not covered.

Vez'nan — the campaign antagonist

Verified from official story text: the campaign returns to the early Kingdom to stop young Vez'nan before darkness takes hold. Exact boss-encounter mechanics are still being verified.

  • Team logic (reasoned): against a boss, hold the lane with barracks (Knights Order, Ironbark Treant) and focus damage into a kill zone.
  • Spell plan: Teleportation Sigil to reposition the boss, Reinforcements as the save button.
  • Hero plan: Gerald (tank) + Drakkan or Ignus (burst).

General boss-fight principles

  1. Find the boss's lane early and build the kill zone there — don't spread damage across all lanes.
  2. Use barracks to hold the boss inside artillery and mage range.
  3. Save area-clear spells for the adds a boss spawns; spend single-target damage on the boss.
  4. Use your heroes' gap-cover roles: tank on the boss, damage on the adds.

What gets added

As stage bosses are confirmed in-game, each gets its own section: observed mechanics, failure points and the team that countered it. Nothing is invented to fill this page.

Game version: launch 1.0 (Sep 24, 2026). Only the campaign antagonist is verified so far; mechanics Unverified. Last checked 2026-09-26.
